Jae H. Lee, MD, is the Laboratory Director of WVCI and is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.

Before joining WVCI, Dr. Lee was at the University of California, Irvine, Medical Center as a hematology/oncology fellow. He earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in 1995. He has been part of WVCI since 2001.

Dr. Lee has a special interest in gastrointestinal oncology and lung tumors. He believes medical oncology offers an opportunity to help patients during their time of need.

"You can really reach out to patients in many ways, medically, emotionally and spiritually," he says.
